Custom tips on stock exhaust (pics PLEASE!!)

As of yet, I have not heard a exhaust that I could be happy with. I sorta like the Megan, from the clips on Youtube since it does not sound all raspy, and maybe the Tanabe Touring Medalion, but too $$$. but have any of you changed the tip on your stock exhaust, so it goes straight out? Really I would be happy with this, just not sure if possible, since the stock tip points down. Anyone got any pics?

Probably gonna only see the OEM finisher on a stock exhaust, and its nothing to get excited about. Be too much work to be worth having a pipe straight out the back behind the stock muffler. What about the HFP muffler? Its only barely louder than stock, and comes straight out the back.

+1 for HFP muffler. It looks great i think, paint the canister black and it would look hot!
I think DC makes the HFP muffler so the quality is pretty good.

i thought about getting the HFP muffler and hacking off the tip and either welding another tip on it or leaving it without one
