Question HFP sports exhaust gasket fit?

I'm planning to buy a used HFP sports exhaust for my 2007 Fit DX. The muffler has only been used one winter and seems to be in good condition (the owner took the muffler back out before he sold his car). However, the seller says that he doesn't have the 2 bolts and the gasket that usually comes with the muffler (he claims that it never came with the box). My question is: can I use the stock gasket and bolts that came with the original muffler?? If not, would Honda sell these gasket alone for the HFP exhaust?

I don't remember getting any bolts but there was in fact a "donut" gasket with the muffler which was the same gasket that is used with the stock muffler if I recall correctly (EDIT: Not true when I cross referenced on Bernardiparts) and yes, Honda should sell them separately from the exhaust. Give me about 10 minutes to double check that though.

Well, according to Bernadiparts.com under the "Sport Muffler" section in accessories the gasket part number is 18229-SAA-J01, and the bolt part number is 18231-SR3-A22 .

Under the factory muffler listing, the gasket part number is 18229-SNA-A01. The bolt and spring combo is actually separate as well with the bolt listed as 18231-SR3-A22 and the spring listed as 18230-SA0-930.

The HFP muffler does come with new bolts and donut gasket.
You can reuse the factory bolts and gasket with no problem.
I reuse my factory stuffs and kept those that came with the HFP as spare.

It's good that the parts from the stock muffler are reusable. Hope that they last as long as the HFP muffler does. I checked the Bernardi parts catalog and the HFP parts are double the price of the stock parts. I wonder what the difference are between the two?

I doubt there are any difference. Part numbers might be different because one is for the oem muffler and the other for the HFP.
