Spoon vs. J's Racing

Well as the title says i am trying to decide between the Spoon N1 and the J's Racing muffler. I would like as much input on this as possible, thanks.

I personally like the J's better. I hate the way the Spoon N1 looks, and everyone has it.

I'm going to have to say spoon just because, well that's what I have and love it Are you getting the B-pipe and Muffler or just the Muffler? If your getting both id say lean towards the Spoon because it has a resonator in the B-pipe to help keep noise down. Just cruising around town the Spoon has a nice low sound and under 3000-4000rpm its not obnoxiously loud.

im not a 100% on this but I think you can mix and match the B-pipes and the Mufflers so you could then do the Spoon B-pipe and J's Muffler.

Thanks, and your going to love the spoon exhaust. I'm going to aventually pick up the T1R header. I was going to get the Spoon Header but I found out those dont fit the USDM Fits with out modifications and for $800.00 seems a little much to then have some one modify it to work.

Could you please give us a clip of the sound? The ones on YouTube are kinda lame. What is more, did you get more power?

I've just ordered the Spoon N1 exhaust and hope to get some more hp in the high revs. I read that header, b-pipe and back box may add 15 hp. But unfortunately, sport exhausts in combination with air intakes and also race headers are not allowed here...Any other way to create a race car sound with additional power?

Here are the only two clips I have, If your looking for a certain sound clip LMK ill do the best I can to get it.

just a simple rev

A drive-by. Remember my Fit is a AT so it might sound a bit different then from a MT, for the clip I did put it in S.

For power its hard to say I have never dynoed my car so I cant give you any numbers but It does feel like it gave it a bit more get up and go. Its nothing like OMG, throw you into the back of your seat power but it does seem to get up to speed a bit faster.

Thank you for the videos. They're quite helpful, the Spoon exhaust sounds very nice to me. Good choice, man. I got an AT as well, so that could be the sound to expect.
