This car was not meant to house a big ass K20 just like an EF hatch was not meant to house a H22A it's as simple as that.
It can, and has, been done but this swap is not plug-n-play by any means.

So go ahead and do it if that is what you want but it is an expensive and rather involved swap and I'm sure you know all this.

The K20 and K24 are beautiful motors but I would rather transplant one of them into something else.

I don't see what's the problem with swapping K series into the GD3. The extra weight is the least I would worry about. The f/r balance is already 65%/35% with the oem L15 engine. Plus, so many people have done the swap already in Asia and north america. I would do it if I decide to keep my Fit in the long run.

If you think an extra 100lbs is going to make a difference your average driver can tell your nuts.
really? u have absolutely zero ideas of what any posible detriments there possibly could be in doing a k-swap?
really?
EVERYTHING has a downside no matter how great the upside is
u know there r down sides to having a million dollars too right?

i'm not here to appease the average driver
no f'n average driver even knows what a k20 is (let alone any engine codes)
why would i want to get rid of a/c?
what about an L15 with no a/c, carbon hood and battery relocation?
it's not just about weight distribution it's also about absolute weights
100lbs? i think it's over 200lbs
maybe u can't tell the difference a couple of hundred lbs make but there r lots of ppl who can

weight reduction is unnecessary if you have a strong outputting engine, in this case a K series. If you want to make power, shaving weight does 0 help, it all depends on the engine modification. I have shaved about 200lbs off the Fit and boosted turbo, it still is slower than 85% of the cars in my area. haha

u r an idiot

strong outputting engine is unnecessary if u have a light enough chassis (gokart, bike, etc)
obviously if u want to "make power", chassis weight reduction does nothing u dumb twit...that is the dumbest statement ever!!!!
if u want GREATER acceleration then yes weight reduction will make your car accelerate faster (by the way reducing rotating mass in the engine WILL MAKE MORE POWER!!
i guess u don't care about handling, braking, fuel economy, and general car longevity

Right now my car is fully gutted and turbo'd, still slower than 85% of the cars on the streets. My mpg is 24-26. looks like I made a bad investment to get the Fit?

I will swap K20 when I make more money in the future. This is my first Honda, isn't Honda famous for its flexible engine swaps and NA builts?

he doesn't want a sports car, he just wants acceleration....a pick-up or an old caddy with lots of power is what he really wants
just get any old v8 and mod that...much cheaper and hp gains r easy
