remus muffler

was wondering if anyone's using a remus muffler on their fit/jazz?

- what kind of setup you using with the muffler?
- how's the sound?

- will i get the deep sound (like a remus should have) if i just change the muffler and not header, b-pipe?

cheers

Remus Muffler...

I Have Fit Aria but with the same type of engine like Fit (1.5 L i-DSi)

My Aria is equipped with Remus Muffler (45mm/80mm (outer tips)). Here's the result:

1. at low rpm (1000-2900 RPM) the sound is like bass
2. at 3000-4200rpm, the engine sound is dominating.
3. at 4500-limiters, produced very soft-trumpet's sound.
4. of course gives 15% more power on low-mid RPM.

Wanna Change sir?

thanks for the specs of the rpm/sound
are you using the universal muffler or the muffler made for jazz?

oh, btw, 1.5L i-DSI? i thought 1.5L is SOHC VTEC? or are they different around the world?
anyway, mine's a 1.3L i-DSI

universal muffler turbo design. but i think, it would be great if you change with the small-one diametre, because ur engine is 1.3L. it will produce more power than if you use the larger diametre one.. mine is 80mm..

o... my car is not Jazz but Fit Aria. Jazz's sedan version.

that's what i was thinking...been to one of the shops that sells the universal muffler..it was huge
recently been told by a mate, his mechanic can order it for a better price..if that's the case, i'll get the one made for the 1.4L jazz that's on remus' official website..

thanks for your info

dont be ricers. mufflers dont add power worth a shit. noise is annoying and does not sound cool as your friends may tell u.
