HKS Turbo Kit Install Manual
#4
Wow, that's a way better instruction manual than I got with the T1R kit..
My instructions told me to remove the passenger side axle.. not sure why, though. I just dropped the turbo in from the top. Never touched the axle.

I was looking at the install manual and I noticed it has you connect a portion of the F-CON to the odb2 port so am I to assume this mean you loose your scangauge if you have one and is there a way to have both connected if this is the case Thanks

Thanks for sharing.
The only thing that's holding me back from this Kit is the lack of tuners for the F-con locally.
Do you know anyone who can tune this? Where you gonna get it tuned? Or just using the factory tune?

Hey. Well I can't afford to ship this HKS kit all the way down here... but; I can surely try to make up the kit myself. Can any one post the actual measurements of the piping pieces, and the bend angles? Please...if that is possible. The manual download is a really BIG help, if I had the actual pipe measurements, that would be a REALLY big help.

^your going to have a MUCH more difficult time getting some one to measure the pipes exactly for you...there are some areas that it is a very tight fit. and if you did get them, theres a good chance that you might mess up 1 measurement along the way which would suck.
your better off jsut designing piping from scratch. it will be much easier...just use the HKS/T1r pipe layout as a guide.
also, if i read that manual correctly...for a turbo drain line it runs a banjo fitting (bad), to the oil drain bolt (bad) below the oil line(horrible). if that is correct, im suprised peoples cars with this turbo kit have lasted this long.
