its a resistor mod on the iat....nothing more nothing less....the engine will make about the same hp regardless of air fuel ratio as long as its not to far out of range....when I took the efi classes in san diego ( www.efi101.com ) we took the instructors bmw and ran the a/f ratio from 16:1 to 10:1 and the car only varied by about 2hp on the dynapack...this mod is worthless....and anyone saying they can feel a difference is on something i wanna try.

Come on now Doc, and tell us how you determined the dyno chart that you have termed rediculous, as relevant in disproving a gain in performance. If anything other than a power gain is displayed, it is that the Mustang that was tested has a loss of torque and horsepower between 5200 and 5900 RPMs before and after the installation of the device. What exactly is your point?

Excuse me. Acura not Mustang. I have a real life outside of this forum and have been dealing dealing with some very serious real life and death issues for the last few weeks.Things are very tense in my real life at this time. I'll allow you wizards to carry on with your internet gang stalking game when I am able to free up my mental resources that are being very challenged at the present time.

Gee, if only Honda was a proper company with more engineers they would have this on all their products, the jets too. How could they overlook this fine piece of underground engineering?......eyes rolling.

A scam promises everything, and delivers just enough to keep the thing going.

Try and return it, a scam until there is a proper refund.

Please do not confuse us with the facts. Science is bunk!!

How people fall for these scams is beyond me, I wish the product was a few hundred dollars, better the laugh.

Defenders of this product must have an interest in it. Follow the money..........

Kyle, I have to go to a funeral in San Antonio and am willing to venture off into the Hill Country if you are available to take my car for a spin and not try to destroy it. Maybe your assessment of my car's performance would be considered valid. Of course I am assuming that you are adult enough to give an unbiased opinion that is totally based on you comparing my FIT with yours. You do have one don't you?

I vote ban. Just to think there is a thread actually talking about these dumba$s resistor mod scam boxes and people are defending them makes me sick. This thread is the ultimate low point of fitfreak.net

I think that would be cool. Odd that is suggested after I offer to drive miles out of my way to allow someone that is of opposition to the idea that I am right, an opportunity to drive my car and report back what he thinks.

I am sorry for your lose(s) first of all.

kyle does not own a fit he was (may still be) in the market for one idk....

I honestly would say at this point you really aren't going to be able to sway peoples opinions unless there are some cold hard facts presented here. opinions are opinions and will always be opinions and no matter the opinion it will be an opinion.... catch my drift.

So i would say there really is no need for people( on both sides ) to argue about this anymore.

You would need someone over the age of 16 who actually HAS a driver's license to achieve your ends. Good luck.

by the way, overuse of smilies is pretty ***.

on a more serious note, i suspect that someone here is in on the scam. perhaps has something to benefit. minus rep.
