i think it is somewhere in the realm of 6-8 thousand depending on how much you get the k series motor for.

you have to use the k series transmission and shifter lever assembly. i think that was a total price i came to when looking at doing this swap, but i also have a hook up with the k motors. it would be cheaper and more effiecent just to go with the turbo kit.

Ok, thanks. I might do that anyways because its cheaper, but the HP from the K looks so good

The hp is not only the best part
the best part is the red line, the engineering, the originality and the NA powerband....
You will be in a totally different realm when you have a K motor under your belt.
It's like a whole new world opened up to you. you have billion of choices of what you want to do to the K.

thats why i want to do it. i could max out at 150 hp. or i could START at 200+ hp. very tempting. i just dont wanna kill the resale of my care by converting it to an MT and swapping a motor..

It is not easy from AT to MT. It is a lot of things that different from the AT to MT. it can be done, but hell a lot of work seriously (I did). The tran. is different, the clutch pedal will drop you crazy and req. hell a lot of custom work.

I would recommend you trade the MT Fit or just go for Turbo. for K20 swap I believe x3 more custom work on the AT Fit to make it work.

trade in your fit, buy an MT one
that would probably be cheaper in the end
