i have it with stock headers and T1R VIP axle. I only hate it because it hangs low! I have scrapped it and dented part of the mid pipe already. It does sound good though........ I had it connected with a HKS Hi Power before. From what it looks like all mid pipes hang kind of low.

Now you're making worry about my Megan muffler .
Then again I haven't heard anyone having problem with it.

I haven't had any cracking problems with my muffler or b-pipe. But the pipe does hang low.

Here's the best shot I have of how low it actually hangs. Mind you, I have a base model, so you sport folks have side skirts that will cover that up a little bit

a few worm clamps would help raise the height at which the megan mid-pipe mounts. just pinch the hangars together by an inch and it should hide most of the low-hanging resonator. i wish i had known this before i sold mine

the megan mid-pipe is a few bucks cheaper than aspec's. as far as i can tell they're both the same design and both hang low. i went with the megan brand because i'm a cheap mother-effer.

for the OP.. PB blaster, get some! it'll make the job so much easier. WD40 won't do a thing to help loosen the exhaust nuts/bolts. after letting the PB blaster soak in for a few minutes i still managed to gash my knuckles removing the bolts near the cat., be careful in that area - hope you're not a bleeder
