I've never priced it since it has never been a consideration for me. If you were VERY experienced at doing it you could probably pull it off for 10k. But like you said once you are knee deep it just gets more expensive. I've been seriously considering the High bost kit now that it is out, but then it's an LSD, new clutch etc etc.

I think people that talk the most about doing a swap really haven't considered the labor cost involved and very few can do all of the work or know other people that have the skills, shop space and tools to do maybe 85 or 90% of what all is involved....I am going to upgrade with the ECU reflash, injectors and other things as I can afford to...... I won't allow myself to let my clutch engage with the revs up so it will be awhile (I hope) until I need to do a clutch and of course I will want to get a lighter flywheel when I do..... High performance is like sex, you just can't get enough of it.....It is still better to drive a plain looking sleeper that is fast than something that looks like it is and isn't...... Some of the most beautiful women I have been with were very disappointing in relation to the way they looked.

I didn't pick the fit because it is the best platform out there. I would have just kept my 350z if that were the case. I picked the fit because it is a fun little car that I plan on boosting because I love the looks on peoples faces when they just got walked by something they thought was just another ricer with a fart can.

That being said simply numbers crunching and tons of experience at a track says that with a good driver and proper supporting mods the base kit should be a mid or low 15 second car and the high boost a mid to high 14 second car. With a turbo the possibilities are anywhere from high 15's to low 14's safely on a stock engine depending on your setup (turbo size, tuning setup etc)

I plan to run a larger than average turbo because I learned what low end boost does to a fwd car (supercharged v6 tiburon). Bad 60' times and broken axles are no fun.

A turbo kit needs air in and out. So a full exhaust is a must with a turbo kit. Thats why any turbo kit slapped on the Fit will run booty times with all stock exhaust parts.

I cant wait for mine to get tuned. Ill be running her. I just want high 14s at 9xmph.

IIRC...the K series is lighter than the B-series which explains it with the Integra. For the Civics, I think the F:R weight balance is probably better than ours.

What was the 60's?

Im worried my clutch is going to slip. My clutch is stiff compared to any other Fit I drive. Weird... And I have 52k on her.
