im pretty sure skunk2s are all pretty loud. If you want a quiet exhaust get a megan racing, tanabe concept G, or Apex world sport. Then add a B-pipe to make it "cat-back" Just remember autos are louder than manual so choose wisely

ya i got this h fit right now and its pretty loud but i like the stock look, i might just toss on a b-pipe and keep my oem muffler and see how that sounds. not really looking for gains just a nice tone and this ones not cutting it, and after reading further the skunk is not my top choice for anything everyone says there really loud

skunk2 is way loud. but anything more than 50mm you will lose back pressure, unless boost is involved.

i have the skunk 50 mm and in my opinion its not really loud... its deaper sounding than a fart can. and i dont have the silencer on. but ya it does come with one and its really easy to put in if u dont like it. it gets loud if u floor it but if ur driving normal you could barely hear it. when my wife drives it i cant hear her pull into my driveway if that says anything.

60mm is way too much for a near stock Fit!!! I would reserve it for the FI cars!!

60mm catback from Skunk 2 in green!!

A-spec axleback!!

I don't tkink it really would make 5Whp on a Stock fit but a 50mm Exhaust is more then enough for a Stock\Near Stock Fit!!

My 2 Cents!

Like i said, 50mm should be better on a near stock Fit then 60mm... It's only a 1500cc engine revving to a low 6.5k Rpm! a 60mm exhaust pipe would lost too much precious exhaust velocity and low end torque without really shining on top end...!!

Here's a question... for a nitrous application, would you go with 50mm or 60mm?

50mm would be fine for nitrous.

For Nitrous use i would go with 60mm because Nitrous generates more gaz volume on the exhaust side then the intake side!! You wont loose performance with a 60mm pipe compared to 50mm but it would be more optimal for nitrous use!
