Just installed DC sport header, burn smell??

Just installed DC sport header, burn smell??

Normal?

slight burn smell after gunning it a few times on the mile drive home

That is normal. Even if you reinstall old headers it will give off that burning smell but it goes away in a couple of miles....same with new exhaust. So no worries.

It's normal. The smell should go away soon. If it doesn't... Then something's obviously wrong.

That's good to know. I put my exhaust on today and had that smell... thought I'd have to take it to a shop to get them to re-torque the bolts. Thanks for the info.
