Simple questiono on Gasket

Is the Intake Manifold gasket on the GD fit the same as in the GE.

Both engines are L15 so i just want to confirm. I got a Hondata style Thermal Intake gasket that i want to try but its for a GD.. I want to know if it will fit n the GE.

Looking at the parts diagrams on Bernardi Hondas website the two gaskets look too different to interchange. If the Hondata part is dirt cheap, go for it. If not, save your money, you will never notice a difference from installing it any way. Oops I just re-read what you posted and you already have the gasket! Oh wells, like I said, 90% sure they wont interchange, but its worth a try...

I'm not sure about the interchange...

But for what it's worth (less than .02 probably) when I changed out the intake manifold gasket on my EP (went from metal to thermal plastic)...my intake manifold went from burn your f-ing hand off to I could touch it after a drive. That's gotta tell you something.
