Synthetic Oil

So i just changed my oil from regular 5w20 to synthetic 5w20. i got a few questions.
My regular oil was at 50% before i changed to synthetic, i just did it because i was already at my 3k mark but my oil Percentage is stuck at 50% is that because of the synthetic or is there a reset to it?

also are there any side effects to having to having synthetic or anything of importance i should know about

Thanks
Fitfreaks!

If I remember correct you put the key on ignition and switch to the oil conter. Press and hold the reset switch till the counter flash, release, then press and hold it again. Something like that.Synthetic oil is better in every aspects then regular so no worry.

woot it worked. you have to hold it down for at least 30 seconds Fyi. didn't have to press it a second time.
Thanks so much!

Strange. Both my Fits have to be pressed two times to zero out. I can't imagine why your gauge would stay at 50%?????
