If I were in your shoes Paulo107 I would wait for a short ram. The Fujita is one solid pipe all the way into the fenderwell. I am sure in time some short rams will make there way out.

You also should remember, the bypass valve offered by AEM pretty much negates the power gains of the intake. The only short ram I've seen is the Weapon-R piece, over at honda-tech.

this is not true. The bypass valve only works when the filter end of the intake is clogged up. When this happens, the vaccuum opens up the bypass valve so air can still enter the intake.

And to those who keep bashing on the two piece construction, this is for the bypass valve to be fitted. There is no power loss due to the construction. As long as everything is clamped down there will be no problem.

Is this intake carb legal or has AEM not taken the steps to make it so yet?

how loud is it? droning on the freeway? Can you hear it at constant speeds or only during heavy accel? Sorry I know its a performance piece and it will be louder just trying to balance the line between performance nad daily driver my s14 is gutted caged race seat and no sound deadening so its def. loud!

Anyone know if the AEM intake will work on an Auto? The Fujita does not (at least that's what i read here).

the piping on the AEM looks bigger than the Fujita CAI, so I would definately find out before I got it.

2.75" on the AEM intake. I took some more pics last night and i'll try to have them up later.
