fit k swap header

took some pics of my header/exhaust and measured and marked it off before takeing it down and putting up another temp exhaust setup. sending it off to asp monday and slowly work towards a header that will be bolt on way better than stock for future fit k swapers. ill post pics and info as progress is made, iam sure stefan will chime in on this later

You can get a custom divided T4 topmount setup for two TiAl44's in sch40 ss and then have it ceramic coated and still not have spent $1400

asp now has my old setup and is in process of making a fixture and then shortly after making prototype, iam sure there will be options like full stainless, megaphone, or budget after all is said and done, iam not sure of priceing at the moment but it will not be 1400 lol, it wont be 300 like ebay ones but asp stands behind their products and thats why i went with them. Right now we are try to not only make it so it goes under the car fine but allso so its an easy install for the diy guys or if you need to remove the engine for any reason it goes in and out easly. The plus side to all this is even tho this is for a k24, the only difference for k20 is the deck height, the under the car pattern is the same! and i dont wana jump the gun just yet but iam talking with another good k swap company, karcepts, about making a bolt on bracket for the abs unit, so instead of having to make or modify one, there will be one that just bolts up. i plan on test dumming my car till this is a more bolt on swap than it currently is, so hopefully there will be more interest in doing a k swap fit. i should have the hr shifter box by end of this month so hoping to have info on that some time first of june, and then shortly after that ordering a rrc manifold to test and see what needs to be done to make that work, its basically the same as a rbc manifold just a lil better, please post ideas and thoughts guys, every step forward is a plus for us all.

A nice aftermarket header would be an INCREDIBLE product to mass produce. Wish someone like hybrid racing would make one I'm using hasports prototype one and its good, better than oem manifold, but man it would be nice to have a masterpiece and not have the downtime to get one made.

I had a custom one made, having a aftermarket header for the Fit would be great and help cut down on cost and down time for the swap. I really wish HR would make a bolt in shifter box for the Fit

yo, didn't you make one for your swap. just copy and past and slang that on the side son lol. what i mean is have someone make you copies lol. unless I'm mistaken and your not the person that swapped the HR shifter in your fit.

I did just do the HR swap, so did JCrim and breadman. Dont get me wrong the shifter is really nice and it does the job but it is less then idea. It took moddifying the box and making a bracket for the box. If HR made a shifter box that was for the Fit and its odd mounting would be great
