Hard to be upset when the whole motor only cost $40 bucks at a gas station in palatine.

So for the record 31psi on pump gas on a stock 19year old 170k mile longblock was cool, but try 33 psi and now you've gone crazy haha oh well.

Amazingly I heard this happen and reacted quickly enough that I dumped the molten slice of valve hat out the wastegate so my turbo escaped unharmed.

Best part is I have 3 of these motors so I just have spare bits lying about.

Repair was free and this engine will be back on the road tomorrow if I have the inspiration to slap it together and re-time it in the morning before I leave for work.
