Does the third generation Fit require valves to be adjusted at specified intervals?

 

Any valve train without hydraulic adjusting "lifters" or "followers" needs an occasional check/adjust and even some with hydraulics do. Fast spinning small displacement engines wont suffer from checking the valve lash. If it still specs it in the manual "when valves get noisy" I'd fall back to every 60 to 80 K ,,,,pop the valve cover and run the valves..
