I found the crank and camshaft wires but there is no positive and negative? What do I solder the resisters to?
Has anyone else had to do this with they're fic?

it is, and it has worked perfect for other people that I've heard of. but my fit has a stutter at high rpms similar to what scions deal with.. so i'm trying out they're "resister mod" hoping it will help me out also

the resister mod is 100% unnescessary with the fit. if you are getting stuttering at high rpms, you have another issue.

i has stuttering, ended up being a bad coil. it was random, very inconstant, and only happened under load. finally one day i just accelerated through the stuttering (my car hated it ) but it finally pushed the car enough to give me a CEL. maybe try that

So I tried to push my car through the stutter an my check engine light started flashing so I slowed down and after maybe a minute the light shut off? My car has also had problems if I drive it before I let it warm up I'll get to a stop sign and it will shut off but starts tight back up again. It's had that problem before I even tried to tune it though.. Maybe it's time for some new coilpacks?

Can you post a log? Or a screen shot of your setup page?

could you also post up a picture of your setup screen too? that might help us determine what is making you stutter, also. i know the check engine light goes on and off, but you might still be able to pull a code or a pending code which might tell you what is going on with your car

a CEL flashing means you have a misfire.
even though your CEl eventually went off, hopefully your ECU stored the code and will tell you what cyclinder(s) was misifiring. if your settings in your FIC were correct, its most likely either bad spark plug, bad coil, or bad injector, im gonna go with bad coil since they seem to be a problem on this car.

get your self (or borrow from a auto parts store) an OBD2 scanner that is CAN compatible.

Went In to a local shop today and they couldn't detect any codes, but lucky me right when I left it threw a code and shut off and won't get past 3,000 rpms so I went back an it's the camshaft sensor now..

check your wiring. did you make the harness yourself? the cam shaft sensor wires confused me when i first made my plug and play harness..and i had them mixed up. however i got an code instantly.
at least the camshaft sensor is an easy fix.

but its a concern that your car was stalling when coming to a stop even before the installl...thats defiantly not normal and whatever caused that coud be part of your issue now too.

i got the harness from boomslang, but i did try to do the "resister mod" which now i know was not a good idea.. so that was my fault..

and the stalling before the install i figured was part of needing new coil packs? i never payed much attention to it because i didnt have the cash to buy new ones and it only did it if i didnt let it warm up, so id just let it warm up for about 5min then drive easy for the first mile or two and it wouldnt stall. but now im gonna have fresh coil packs and a fresh cam shaft sensor! crossing my fingers that will fix the stutter and ill be ready to tune finally

I'm glad to see some issues are being taken care of, and I hope that those were the root of the problems you been having.
