rrc manifold install on k swap fit
well good news, it fits! lol, but there are few steps you need to do when installing cuz it is very tight and wont just bolt right on, sorry for lack of pics, only took 2 cuz was in rush was running out of daylight but ill take more and post later.
1. you need to cut more off the rad suport than what is normal required for type s manifold, needs to go to the line right in front of where the hood latch is, and needs to go to the left atleast to where the last open hole is where the light harness would usually plug in from the bottom, like so
2. this isnt a must but i recomend it to make install go smoother, take the lighting harness that runs under the rad suport and tuck it on the other side of the radiator, you only need to tuck the section that will be under the manifold.
3. you must remove the two studs from the head, this is a must! there is a nub on bottom of the manifold that will hit the altnator if you dont and the front of the manifold will hit if you try to just slide it on, after removing the studs, you line up the gasket and manifold and reinstall studs and rest of manifold bolts to the head.
4. make sure all hoses, wires, lines, etc....are hooked back up properly, dont forget to add some coolant cuz you will lose some when doing install, then enjoy your new bolt on
big thanks to rich @ autofair honda, local vendor on k20a.org, where you can order an rrc or rbc manifold, and thanks to supports and fit memebers

no, the radiotor is about a good finger distance from the manifold, you will be fine just follow the steps, if the rad suport seems to close to you, it will be about 1/2 inch from end of manifold, you still have about 1/2 inch more you can trim off before you are flush with the hood latch bracket

yes, more midrange and top end, smoother pulls, iam sure with better header and tune it will make big difference, but i can notice a small increase
