GTSpec NEW Parts! Crankshaft Pulley and STB

Finally We're back up!!! I've had these parts since thursday!! Couldn't post them till today!

There is a company GTSpec here on long island, THey Import aftermarket parts developed and manufactured in Asia, they test fit them (On my Fit!!) And they re-name it with their US Name GTSpec! (Plus some of it may be made in-house)

They tested ALL JDM PARTS! Here is the low down of what Fits so far! The Front Strut Tower bar, Rear Strut Tower Bar, Rear Trunk Cage, Front Lower 2 point Tie bar, And Crankshaft Underdrive Pulley!

For my testing they tossed me the Crank Pulley for $0! 7075 Aluminum (It is the Summit Pulley made in Taiwan that someone else on this board has. Now it's comming to the US via GTSpec MUCH MUCH Cheaper! ) Look for it at a performance distributor near you! retail $140 - $200 (not defined yet) Depends on import tax and shipping.

I am waiting for GTSpec to send me all of their pics they took, but here are the pics of the parts i personally got from them!

Crankshaft Pulley

New Pulley as weighed by "Jimmy101" is (1lb and 6.2 oz) Where the stock is 4 times the weight! at (4lb and 13.2oz).

Results are MUCH BETTER low-end Torque and Better throttle response! Finally some power off a light! Top end has improved slightly as well!

O.k. now here are the pics of the GTSpec Strut Tower Bar!

Retail for the Bar should be priced from $160 - $220. (Not Defined yet)

All i cna say is the quality is Great, and the performance is great!! Really Sticks in high speed Turns!

Hope you like the pics, Look for GTSpec at a Performance store near you, or tell them to Buy from GTSpec in Deer Park, N.Y.!

HP gains on paper are unknown unless a dyno test of a stock one and mines were done, and that's up to GTSpec or SUmmit! THe way it feels as for a feeling of increased power, there definately is! I used to engage 1st gear and step on the gas and it would slowly wind up and then open up at 4500, Now it's got some responsive-ness! Picks up faster, and screams in the top end too! As for harm to the engine, I haven't seen a pulley blow a motor before, but if there ever was any adverse effects, i'll just slap the stock one back on, then tow it to the dealership for free warranty work! But like any other performance part you add, it's against honda's will!

If the full trunk brace is not desired, you can just purchase the rear strut tower bar! (the top bar in that last pic!!)

so my question is this... has the pulley modification increased your gas mileage any?

also, from the pictures, it looks like a pain to reach the pulley. did you have an issue with fitting your arm in there at all?

no problem accessing t he area for install. no need to even raise the car.

Just turn wheel right and remove the splash shield. then adjust the alternator adjustment to loosen the belt. Then remove the belt from the crank pulley. Then using a 19mm socket and a 1/2 in impact gun, remove nut and remove old pulley and replace with new one! Installation is reversal of removal!

Hope it helps! The view from up top is just a vie from up top! no need to go through there!
