I'm reading battery threads today, and I'm pissed as h*ll that I have to think about this on a six month old '13 Fit, but I have already noticed that it's cranking weakly on morning start-ups.

Let me see if I have this straight:

1) I need a 51r battery. Maybe an Interstate.

2) I need Remy adaptors.

3) I need to cut the plastic bottom tray.

4) I need to hope that I can secure the much-too-large new battery so that it doesn't vibrate.

That about right?

Thanks, gents.

Before hacking up the original battery tray, I would just go out and buy a universal tray that will hold a 51R battery and mount that to the Fit.

Second battery needed today.

Replaced our Fit's 2014 Interstate 51R battery...it died suddenly (within three trips). Lasted 3 years, 11 months.

Got another Interstate Econo refurbished unit, $50 VS 135 for a brand-new one.
