Maybe there aren't enough demand for them to make a kit for it

other than a custom shop no ones gonna be able to answer that. the mounts arent even available as of yet. not to mention the wiring and other issues.

hasport makes a kit....not sure if its available yet.

theres a few people that have done it (shops) so hopefully they can chime in on this and give you a few pointers. a big thing is the RSX k20 is traditional cable throttle system. the Fit is DBW so a retro fit of some sort will be needed to make it work properly.

both the L15 and the K20 spin the same way (unlike the 90-00 civics) so thats a slight bit of good news. i have heard there will be some cutting of the engine bay to make the mounts fit right and have it all line up. other than that im not much help.

The K20Z3 from the 06+ Si is DBW...and between you and me, the better engine of the two. But I'm biased as an owner. lol

Good luck with splicing those wires to get those paddle shifters working.

We are working on the kit to try to release it in the next month or two. The wiring will be unique in that both the Fit and K-series ECU will run concurrently. It makes the swap more expensive, but you will have full use of the dash and full control of the ECU.

These newer cars are problematic with the can-bus communication and some of the advanced systems controls. Takes time.

Damn this is good to hear/read...I was giving up on my swap and planning to sell my k20r then go with the t1r turbo. Thank you and god-speed with the process.

lol i hate that stuff. makes my job a pain when doing alarms and sound these days. funny how no one realizes its a bit more than making the engine bolt in and mating up wires. they gotta speak the same language to play well

Brian,

Do you have just the mounts?. 90% of my dash is going to be aftermarket guages anyhow. I'm a car audio/security so wiring is a non-issue. I just want to get the K24 in there without cutting or hacking.

The mount kit is getting close to release but not yet. If you post in another two weeks I should be close to setting a release date.
