Looks nice to me! Less possibilities of hydro-lock, easy to install, etc.

Any links?

Hot air is bad for both performance, and you engine

Hydrolock can be avoid with an AEM air bypass vavle. Im sure itll work on other intakes.

Bad For The Fit?

So what if it's $100 - maybe some of us don't want to screw around with a $230 FUJITA and risk that hydro lock, because i don't think an AEM bypass will fit...i may be wrong...but still Heat Soak is a myth - any comments? PLAY NICE!

The AEM intake is a two piece and from the deisgn i dont think the bypass will fit...Fujita is a one piece and that wont work either...i have read that unless your in 12 to 16 inches of water you should be alright...i have my dibs in the T1R intake or that Last station PB...better to pay more and be safe with a good quality intake form either of the 2...the rain here is getting real bad

anyway I can't find it on ebay.... have to check it out. I will build myself one, but that pipe is great for the initial conection .....

please somebody post a link to the item.

You can shurely made it yourself!!!! It's been done since ever and work fine. I used to work in a speed shop and you wouldn't belive how many car-genetic modifications are made to put performance parts to cars that are ridiculous just to exist.

Point: A CAI could be easely be custom made so if there is the initial conective pipe then I have to say.... give me give me!!!!!

ricepuddin is right about it sucking in hot air...you will get max gains from Cold air.reason for this is because cold air is more dense than hot air so you will be packing more air into the engine...i thought i might add that that intake is made from APC parts and the hose and couplers are cheap plastic pieces that dont take the right shape. i know this because I build cai for the aveo and i by apc kits that have those parts but i replace those cheap parts with silicone connectors and the kit i get that is twice the length of pipe is around $80 with filter so who ever is selling just the elbow online is making huge profit......cold air intakes are easy to make yourself...i made my own CAI intake for my aveo from a civic intake

so if you guys want to make a short ram like that for even cheaper....go to apc product website and look for an elbow that would fit (looks like a 90 degree angle) and for the connector/s go to spectreperformance.com....now that site has buildable kits but dont by their pipes because they are just chromeplated plastic that brake...their connectors are very good quality ( i cut into parts of them and they did not split apart any futher than what i cut.) you can order all the apc and spectre products from summitracing.com if you get the part numbers from the sites...its cheaper to get those producst from there then in stores plus you only pay 9 bucks for shipping and handling.
