buddy Club race spec condenser

I'm debating on getting one and was wondering if anyone has one or has used one before. Are there any benefits from this product. I've looked at other threads based on this and most of them turned into arguments about who's right and who's wrong. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks everyone

there are many of these types of products out. Another brand that sells on equivelant to buddy club is pivot. The idea is to have a better grounding system for the whole engine to the chassis (spinning metal parts in other metal parts creates slight magnetic fields thus producing an electrical current). On paper and theory this is a good product but in reality this will not add any power or do very much to aid anything.

The only true benefit that I have seen mentioned by people is that the radio channels become some what clearer or have less of a static sound. If you look at any race car setup they just run heavy grounding wires.

Thanks for the input guys. Will it help out with the headlight flicker or is there another trick I can do to eliminate it.

No the flicker is because of the ELD. It does it's job of keeping the alternator running just hard enough to keep the battery charged but it takes a few milliseconds to increase the power out of the alternator when needed.

Interesting. That also was a reason why I was looking into getting the grounding kit to see if it would prevent that from happening

Grounding kits are worthless a ground is a ground is a ground. In other words if something is grounded it is grounded adding more or bigger grounds would only help dissipate heat.

There woud be no noticeable increase in voltage or amperes there may be an increase in the very minute range that you couldn't even read on a standard multimeter but again any increase would be negated by the voltage regulator and ELD.

I understand that some members claim results from adding or increasing ground size but it's wishful thinking. Ask them if they measured any changes in Ohms, volts, and or amps and what kind of meter they used to find these differences.

I second this! and I dont like the look with all those wires going around the engine bay.
