So brand new to ecu tuning

Hi, I have a gd1 1.3 idsi is there anything avaliable to tune my ecu? I'm putting on a weapon r race header and b pipe with apexi short ram, 2"bpipe, magnaflow high flow muffler will I need to tune it to see any benefits? Or will the ecu fight it?

No you are lucky you have a GD their ECM can take mods and not revert back like the GEs do.

You are lucky there are several ECM tuning devices sold in OZ that we can't get here. I would suggest some local Honda mags and read the adds to pick which one you need.

But that being said many people have added all your mods WITH NO TUNER and made gains sticking with the stock GD ECM.

You may get more using a tuner and then you have to consider the added cost of the system then paying someone to tune it and if it's worth the price for a few more HP.

Like I said try ECU-MAN on OZHONDA site. He is the man down there and if he is still online he can steer you to the right system.
