Wondering about ecu tuning
Hello, well last week I got my header, exhaust, grounding kit & spark plugs installed & I think I got to like 5-7 horses, but I have 1 more tq than hp. the shop was suggesting me to do an ecu tune. I'm not really sure about whether to or not whether it would make much of a difference. I just need suggestions, thanks.

Our ecu is untunable. It will adapt on its own to minor bolt on parts like you have. Reset your ecu and it will adapt. In order to tune it you will need a stand alone, or another similar.
Fit is not like our civics.

the ecu is not "untunable"...
the problem is that in order to tune it you would need to go much deeper into the programming in order to dictate new values for different pid's: throttle position, map readings, desired torque, open/closed loop settings, etc...
that kind of tuning is fairly far off for most hondas from what i understand... at least in a "plug and play" sort of way...
