Question Proven performance mods...

The Fit is pretty cool with it's current trim but I'd like to tweek it out just a bit. I'm interested in REAL gains.

Two areas I'd like to improve:

-Horsepower (NA)
-Suspension

Some of you guys that have been here for a while hopefully can chime in.

As far as hp, nothing crazy. I'm looking to go the traditional route: intake, header, exhaust, perhaps a chip if one's available. Not sure who to go with.

Suspension, based on what I've seen/read: coilovers & strut braces. I've got my eyes set on Tein, unless their is something comparable.

Looking for some feedback in these areas.

Thank you in advance

haha oh. I thought it was 100 meters though :P I'll be happy with the fit if it can just do a 0-60mph in 7 seconds. that's all I want. but it does 11 oh well... fit is fit

hehe! when its able to do that then the CVT gearbox will throw a "FIT" over the extra stress levels!

Well I see Mythelogy had updated the site with another new dyno on a hatchback that just installed their lightened aluminium crank pulley with damper !

I have a hard time believing that the Auto has fast acceleration than the manual.

Well its good to know that the Fit only needs about 50 na horses to be in 6 sec. 0-60 range, a reliable supercharger with some bolt ons should take care of that.

Since when does a manual trans get that much faster than an auto??? Is your car completely stock? I'd find this really difficult to believe if it is.

EDIT: Should've read your second post closer...you are using nitrous then, right? I think we should get an AT w/ Nitrous to make a fair comparison.
