Injen doesn't say, must be for both. Looks like it bends to the driver side to avoid the a/t.

The car the intake is installed on is 5speed. You can see the clutch reservoir.
Whats the deal with the air fuel ratios? I know that all cars are different but a member on this board said his ran REALLY rich. 9-10.5 AFR's. Cars cant be that different.

That's what I hate about aftermarket intakes. It seems that on all vehicles, when you put an intake on them they will tend to run richer. I think it has to do with the MAF reading an increase of airflow and compensating with an increase of fuel to prevent the engine running to lean...if possible you'ed want to get a person who really know what they're doing to use a programer and kick the fuel ratio back a tad bit. but you have to be very careful...running lean will kill the engine where as running rich will just waste more gas.

But what I love about the injen is the ability to convert it from a CAI into a short ram...perfect for the rainy season.

why doesn't the O2 sensor compensate?
and make the fuel mixture leaner as it suppose to be?

hardly any companies are posting their A/F readings, and this is why I was waiting on the Injen, it uses their new MR design which means they tuned the design of the intake to level out a/f readings, look at the graph.. try to find a graph of another intake dyno with such a smooth a/f...even Injen posts another graph on their website showing a LEAN condition of their intakes without using the MR design process. Most of the time with the intake your going to go lean more than rich unless the car is compensating since intake means more air, usually not more fuel, either way this graph proves a stable a/f 13's or so is great, I'm ordering one as soon as someone says they can ship it.

At least a cat-back or axle-back...... Maybe a header-back system since the AFR's are pretty nice.

I read it....

And since you said that. Its probably got an Injen axle-back and the CAI. Aspec's Fit dynoed about the same with a CAI and an axle-back.
