Gasket issues with Megan Header

Hey all!

So, I've had a variety of issues with my exhaust because when I was taking my cat off to fit in my new front sway bar, I ripped up all the old gaskets like a dummy.

Anyway, after much trial and error with Honda parts, I called Megan Racing and ordered some new gaskets from them for my header.

Here is my worry:

When I was putting on the donut gasket from the header to the cat, it seemed to be very loose fitting over the header. The car still doesn't sound good, I know I have a leak somewhere. I rechecked the torque on the bolts to the block, and those were right as rain. So, it has to be that donut gasket.

Has anyone else had this issue? And if so, how did you resolve it?

Many thanks!

Corey

Yes! The donut gasket from Megan is complete the wrong size. Go to the local part store and get another one. I believe it is a 2" ID. The guy who put that gasket with the header is an ass clown. Good luck!

Do you still have your donut gasket from your factory header? I'd try to salvage that and use it on the Megan header first. It may need to have the inside bored out some but still worth a shot.
