Cannot connect OBD-2 Scanner to DLC3

I recently acquired Maxiscan OBD2 scanner and decided to hook it up to my 2007 Fit to read the live data. I used this scanned on various cars including 2005 Matrix.
To my surprise, it went into the DLC3 only half way and resulted in linking error message (however it powered up from the car's system)
In order to rule out damaged DLC connector hooked up my old faithful INNOVA code reader and it worked.
So the question is:
Have anyone experienced similar problem while using the certain brands of scanners?
Thanks in advance

Update: swapped connector from cheap Actron code reader and it connects now
I am guessing that about 80% users of this forum users are "Cut and Paste" general chat experts and never done anything other than Walmart oil change Too bad!

No need to get pissed off over it, man. This forum isn't really that active around this time since a lot of us are working or have school or something. I'm sorry you couldn't get a reply in time. Also your problem is a bit unrelated to the car, it's more of a scanner problem, and you already figured that out. Some people will give suggestions, and some won't reply at all if they don't know the fix.

I'm glad you got your problem fixed and I hope this will be a means of help for anyone else who buys that scanner and runs into your same problem.
