Want GE8 engine mounts? Now or never...
@07fit916 I just now saw this thread. I've been super busy with school, so I haven't gotten a chance to get on here in a while.
Is there any update on this? I have 2 brand new mounts that i'm willing to send in if needed. Please let me know as I was planning on filling these factory mounts!!

If i can help you out split the cost to develop the prototype, count me in! PM me if needed :-) I would like to have them before winter (october) if possible.
Thanks for your great work by the way, I hope we can sort something out.

I'm down to buy whichever mounts are not yet sent in....please let me know what else is needed as well
Prototype mounts (60A) in my CR-Z:

Engine side mount.

Profile view of the engine side mount. The front right wheel and fender liner had to be pulled to gain access to the bottom nut.

Transmission side mount.

Torque rod.
Anyone making anything happen with the GE8?

looks great man. we hit a snag sourcing the mounts. when we did get them, we couldnt get ahold of the contact you posted in the CRZ thread. dunno if we were calling at all the wrong times or what.
If you already have the mounts, I would just send them and not take no for an answer... When I sent mine in they just said to send it to the address on their contact page. This should get it to the right guy:

Just send it and see what happens. He'll probably just end up doing it, whether he was still planning on it or not, if he has the mounts in his hands. Just be sure to include a note with all of your contact information. Name, phone number, address, email, everything. Also information about the car like, make, model, years, etc.
Try to get some pictures ready of the stock mounts too. The more information he has, the better. In the meantime, those mounts need to get sent ASAP...

Ok, in my last email, I asked Chris about what's going on with you guys and told him you guys had mounts ready to send in. He said send them in and he'll get on it. That address I gave above should do it. Also, email contact seems to work better than phone. His email is chris@innovativemounts.com.
When the time comes, be prepared to take pictures, notes, whatever to help Chris get a good idea of what needs to be done to make these fit properly. Your feedback is important when prototyping and will have an effect on how they turn out.
Get on it guys!

Well, that's very good news! It's nice to know that Innovative's team is still interested to make tehm. :-)
On my side I ended up doing it with 10$ Polyurethane insert... The car was down for a week but it really worth it! No more wheel Hop!
If we do a group buy to provide a set of OEM to innovative for these mounts, i'll chip in. But I am in Montreal Canada and somehow I am like a black sheep in the group because I always need to convert US$ to CAD$ and estimate shipping + taxes, etc.
By the way, looking on Rockauto.com (not Honda ones, but somehow very similar...) The final bill should be about 280$+tx +25$ shipping. (Manual transmission)
If we are 10 people to contribute, that makes a small bill of about 30$ each.

So I bit the bullet, reached out to Chris at innovative mounts. I have purchased and sent a set of motor mounts to him in Cali. He should be hand delivering them to me at SEMA here in vegas. I'll keep you all updated.
I'm amazed no one wanted to spend the money on stock mounts, what are you thinking these aftermarket mounts are going to cost?
You should never assume everyone is obligated to chip in for R&D. That is foolish.
Its also VERY foolish to state people are not interested if they dont chip in.
Many people have families and homes to support. Like me, many have to save up a bit to buy parts. EX, my crappy WeaponR cat-delete. It was $300. Still had to save up for a few months to get it. Not happy with it falling apart, but I can move on. Still have stock cats to re-install

Anyway,
I'll be glad to keep you all posted.
