So I only saw one thread on the Weapon R race header. Has anyone recently used this header for the GD?

There doesn't seem to be much quality headers out there. T1R is no longer available. DC Sports is equal to Megan Racing in my eyes. Spoon and Mugen are just too expensive.

Anyways just wanted feedback on the WR product. The gains seem nice and it's a good looking product.

the weapon r race header required some modification. The section where the two runners drop down needed to be extended so that it didnt his the subframe if I remember correctly. A local here was showing me back in the day. They are the only company producing a 4-2-1 header however.

 

I heard they fixed some of those problems but it seems not many have ran this heads in a while to know.

Yeah this is the only long tube header for the Fit. I'd have my buddy make me one but $1500 is not cheap by any means. Thats the price you pay though for the highest quality custom race parts. I think i'm going to give this one a go. Looking to sell the MR header and down pipe to help fund this bad boy.

 

Few months late on this.
I've got one. Might have gotten the last one off the shelf at Weapon-R (so the salesman told me). If so... Sorry y'all. - Anyway... I love it. It's a bit loud and goes well with my cold air intake and DC Sports cat-back exhaust and axle back muffler. Keep in mind this header removes the catalytic converter! Also heat treated mine with a ceramic coating.
I recommend it. Then again I'm totally fine with my car being louder-er than most other Fits.
Have not put my car on the dyno yet... contemplating FlashPro.Some say I could see some significant gains with the help of the FlashPro and my other mods... especially with the race header.

 

Get the FP. It's well worth the money. I reflashed my Fit back to stock to smog it and WOW what a pig it felt like. All those mods w/o a tune you really don't know the power that's held back.
