Torque Dampaner! Need R&d
Torque Dampaner! Need R&d
I have email a company that make these damapeners and the only problem is that they are located in Colorado, all they need is somebody to give em a Fit to R&D on and we will have one! please anybody out there loan em your car and you get a free dampaner!
here is the response I got
----
I just wanted to tell you thanks for writing us in regards to making an ETD
for the Honda Fit. Ingalls is 100% dedicated to providing this part but due
to being in Colorado the selection of Fits to R&D are slim to none, with it
leaning towards the none side. If Fit freak can help get the word out to all
the people and Ingalls gets a Fit for R&D you will have your ETD sooner than
later. Please let me know if there is anyone you can think of that would be
willing to be the R&D Fit for us.
-----
if anybody is intrested PM me and I can get you the contact info!

ETD = Engine Torque Damper.
It connects the engine (usually by the pulleys) to the firewall to reduce engine vibrations during acceleration/ downshifting.
I am thinking that i will need one especially after i install the lighter crank pulley. I think it will cause more stress to the motor mounts. I wish the ALEX mounts fit the USDM.
