Fit Exhaust sound clips!

Hi all, I have read the whole exhaust thread which was very interesting but confusing at the same time, all the different brands this and that, left much to be desired. I think we should have a thread dedicated to sound clips. Just list your other mods eg. injen or fuji CAI and then the name of the exhaust you will be showing us.

Nice tone, sounds very beefy. What point is the cabin noise the highest? My old xB was right at 3K and then again at 6K. 5th gear 60mph could be a bit tedious if I stayed there for long periods, but 70-80@4k it was quieter than stock. Wondering where the Fit's "sweet spot" is with an exhaust, since it's next on the list.

i think it is very similar to your description of the XB except for the 70-80 at 4K reference. At no point during the band is it comparible to stock. Maybe with the silencer on but i have not put it on yet. Maybe when my wife drives it i will put it on (if i ever let her )

same as with my Accord Coupe: there are just some speeds where I wish that I did not have those cruddy Ractive mufflers. There is a 'sweet spot' @ about 70 plus mph. But with my Fit I want a flow-thru and have a lower exhaust note. One muffler shop wanted $285 for a cat back but did not want to do the begining bend. And wanted $260 plus for just the axel back. Better than what you can get from Japan but I thought it would be more reasonable. My cat-back for my Accord Coupe V6 was almost as expensive.

the HFP is just an axle back and problably does nothing for performance. The skunk2 is a full cat back and is 60mm. that's like comparing apples and oranges IMO. either way it's hard to judge hearing a sound clip. need to hear it in person.

Wow, i'm glad someone is doing exactly waht i was thinking of doing leonine. Now i knwo exactly what mine will sound like. Do you have anything else installed that may change the tone of the exhaust? for example, and intake?

when the sound clip was posted i was also running Mugen headers and a mythelogy underdrive pulley. I now have the T1R intake. The exhaust is still the loudest thing you here though. The intake really made a difference...with the headers and exhaust the engine was screaming for more air.

Awesome clips. Doesn't sound as loud as the exhaust looks.
