I'm looking to replace my cat with a downpipe and I was looking to see who's got a Megan downpipe on their GD3.. is it a nice product? does it make a difference performance wise? should I be looking at a different brand? Any input would be appreciated ;-)

Oh nice.. Did you do any research ahead of time of just figure you would try it and see what happens? Lol

 

I have one. What are you going to pair it with? Are you going to get the catted or non-catted version? I have the catless and it smells. A lot. And you won't be able to pass emissions unless they do the OBD2 scanner because you'll fail the sniff test with flying colors. I mated it to my DC Sports header and then the Megan catback and Tanabe Medallion exhaust. I went with that combo because it was the only thing I could find in my price range and the Greddy axle-back was discontinued and sold out.

 

I've got a DC Sport short ram intake, DC Sport headers, and DC Sport cat-back exhaust. I'm looking at the one with the resonator with a CEL eliminator. I'm also looking to add the Weapon R intake manifold, then get a flash pro and have it vittuned.. should be a beast!!

 

I have one and i'll be selling my MR down pipe with eliminator in a few weeks.
