Cold air intake for an 07 Auto Fit?

I was wondering if anyone knew of any cold air intakes for the 07 automatics? I seem to be finding only the short ram intakes - all of the cold air intakes specifically say for M/T only.

the reason why u see that is because the AT trannies sit closer 2 the A/C fan and there is very minimal space in there. I have seen ppl force the CAI's into the engine bay but it is a very tight sqeeze and those ppl had 2 do mods.

there is the link to the writeup of how they did it. If you are looking for a good intake for the fit i recommend waiting for the T1R forced induction box from AJ racing. I know its not cold air intake but it does 11whp. That kinda numbers is keeping me away from my CAI way's. Plus the intake is carbon fiber and it looks hella phat!

actually the T1R intake made 6whp (modest) but a whopping 11flb torque. That is pretty sweet. I am also seriously considering it but waiting to see what the injen SR intake numbers are. Don't want a CAI because i would be too paranoid about water.

Cool - Thanks for the responses! I was concerned about water as well. I think I will wait it out and see what comes of it, although I like the idea of the T1R. The carbon fiber Honda-Veni looks sick, but it's mad expensive.

DOOD - thanks for the detailed description of what to do. Looks pretty involved! Definately going to look into the T1R, thank you!

Hey CT Stevo, Come down to the Island and i'll install the Fujita CAI into ur Fit! I'm the guy who made that write up and i have expereince in it! The guy Wave with the A'T and the CAI had it on with only minor vibration but great sound and performance. No problems and it's been on there for like 3 months! Even though now he has switched to a SR intake, i'll be aquiring his old pipe! yeah! I have a MT!

So if you are looking for an install, PM me!

the Injen SR and exhaust should be out by end of october (so they said after i spoke to them today).

I have been so tempted to order something but i must refrain so i can have my pick of the litter and not have to deal with trying to sell it on ebay when something better comes out.

I thought i saw a post here that someone had checked the temp in the engine bay with either a thermometer or scanguage and stated that once you are cruising the difference was nominal compared to outside temp. That being said i am not worried about cold air vs. warm air.

Plus i did some fab on my front bumper and made the grill opening much larger so i really won't have to worry bout it.

I had the Fujita CAI on my A/T Fit -

Yes it can be done however the pipe does rub up on the transmission. Was it a problem while I was driving it for 3 months? Nope.

It is a very aggressive sounding intake, much more so than the Fujita SRI that I have on my car now.
