GD3 Turbo Build

Hello! My name is Gandankenexperiment. I'm rather new to the forums.

I was hoping to start a thread on building up a turbo for the GD3 fit from bits and pieces available now, seeing as turbo kits have become scarce.

I was planning on buying an inexpensive kit off of eBay and replacing the more important parts (like, the turbo). Any recommendations on what parts to upgrade, which would be good upgraded parts to buy, or whether this is a terrible idea doomed to failure would be much appreciated.

Turbo, wastegate, blowoff all come to mind first, not knowing which kit exactly you were looking at purchasing.

Swade really covered it.

This should seriously have a sticky though: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...rbo-build.html

You will need to invest in a FlashPro and upgraded fuel to match your aims.

We really need more cars to be boosted!

What are your budget and goals?

It's cheap to start... http://m.ebay.com/itm/07-08-HONDA-FIT-JAZZ-GD3-L15-T3-T4-STAINLESS-STEEL-TURBO-MANIFOLD-BOOST-EXHAUST-/151588508266?nav=SEARCH

Hahaha, like I said, it's cheap to START... but a legit T3/T4 is going to be around 1K... $250 for a wastegate... Still need down pipe, charge piping, BOV, IC, Fueling setup, FlashPro, Clutch/LSD.... And don't forget tuning LOL

The link I posted above to Lyon's thread on a DIY build is a really good read for anyone thinking of doing this.
