Loud Exhaust Ignition Timing
Have anyone experience knock and their ignition retarding after they have switched to a loud (Louder) muffler?
As ridiculous and unrelated as this sounds, I'm noticing a retard of 6-8 degrees during wide open throttle versus before muffler change. Both mufflers are 2" internal diameter. One is just much louder than the other.

Found out the answer to my question. Had my muffler changed out to a larger, much quieter one this morning and tested. Ignition timing returned back high again.
