im definitely more into lambos. suicide wont look right on the fit and doesnt look as sporty. its more for luxury cars i think.

Suicide or Lambo doors wouldn't look right!

Lambo doors are so impractical "cool! i can move my door up over my head!" i mean yeah it was cool in the 90's now its just done. The practical thinking of those doors is this...

For one, if you are in a tight parking spot, remember how you can just open your door alittle and skinny out... well NO. with lambo doors, the best you could probably do is crawl out, if you could get out at all.

Second of all, the actual bracket that is required for the door is heavy as hell! adding an extra 10-20 pounds for a little bling? thats just as bad as buying 20 inch chrome rims for this car.

Third of all, You have to get it welded onto the frame. there are very few lambo kits out there in which they bolt up. over 90% of them you actually have to take to a shop and have them weld it. Not only could you have allignment problems, but its an expensive pain in the butt.

Thats it, i'm done ranting.

wow. i guess its not such a good idea for lambo doors. lsd lambo doors have two options. the lambo and normal way of opening doors. so if you were stuck in a tight spot then you could open it the normal way. but it doesnt matter anyway. im so broke right now. looking for a job too. i wanna put some interior trimming on mine when i get the money

id agree with the suicide doors idea, would be awesome

if i could make my own door i would probably make a door that has two rails on the inside of the door with rollers on the top part of the inside, so you push the door straight up, that would roxxorz

have you seen the pics of the car that has doors that slide sideways? the back pop up and slides backwards while the front is frontward. it looks really nice. but you know thats gonna have to eat your wallet. but your idea isnt half bad. would definitely do that. very innovative and i havent seen it before. doors are going everywhere nowadays. its good to be original. are there any cars that did that so far?

actually the last set of lambo doors i installed weighed in at easily 30+ per bracket. they are roughly 3/4" steel. very heavy.

next you have to butcher up your fenders and even then they barely open out a foot. last they go up just enough to allow you to duck below them.

lambo doors are horrible unless they are lifting up the carbon fiber doors on a lambo.

oh a few months ago i saw the funniest thing. it was an older jeep cherokee with some 22s. it had the funny 2 stock 2 tone paint and lambo doors. I watch this old guy duck out the doors. i can see how difficult it was for him to snake his way out. he's like a grandpa with all gray hair. I found that very funny.

guess these are for contortionists only.

lol
