I shouldve when I installed my friends.

Anyways, with the Spoon spoiler you receive a Template that go on either ends and one in the middle. (I cut out the middle bolt so i didnt have to drill 3 holes.)

Once the Templates are in place test fit the spoiler, make sure the bolts will line up on the template.

Next you can use a punch to keep the bit in place, or just start drilling.

I would recommend gettting some touchup paint and paint the raw metal after drilling to avoid rust.

Would also recommend some doublesided tape for the middle of the spoiler altho its not required.

Open up the hatch and place the nut/washer on the bolt and tighten and your done.

Chris has it covered. Measure many times, drill once. I used all three bolts for mine, I hate tape. Also painted the nuts/washer body color. Good luck.

I bought one used, so no template. Could someone measure from the leading edge and the side of the hatch to the bolts so I can drill only once, thanks in advance.

Why do you want to cover them? Aren't they hidden under the replacement spoiler? Any water that gets in should drain through the hatch body and out the holes in the bottom, none of it should come inside the car.
