question about jdm bumper

so, i know that to put the jdm front bumper on, you have to do a whole front end conversion (fenders, headlights, radiator mounts, etc.) but what needs to be done to the rear for the jdm bumper? i love how it looks. the spoon fit at opak racing made me want to do the jdm front and rear and im just trying to do some homework on it. any info helps but a parts list for anything else needed for the rear is even better=)
also, does anyone know if the intercooelr from the t1r turbo kit will fit behind a jdm bumper?

rear you need to remove the crash bar. The intercooler for the turbo should fit. Ben has it on his.

Chris is right, but you can buy a J's monocoque bar to replace the rear rebar.

The intercooler fit's the 1.5S bumper, but it has to be trimmed in a couple of places (the bumper that is....) For any other JDM/EDM front bumper, I would assume it would fit, but since it has yet to be tried no one is certain.

a few more questions
1.is doing the conversion going to set off my airbag light?
2. is there any way around setting off the airbag light when i swap out my seats?
3. does anyone know whats included in the aj's front end jdm conversion kit?
and lastly, does anyone know if aj's (or anyone for that matter) have a rear end conversion kit?

As far as I know:

3 - It's not a kit, you buy the pieces yourself. What is needed is the following:
  • Hood
  • Fender (x2)
  • Fender liners
  • Headlight (x2)
  • Rad support
  • Rebar
  • Bumper - if you're planning on getting a JDM kit with a full front bumper replacement, you don't have to buy this.
4 - Again, there is no kit. You can buy the rear bumper and monocoque bar from them.

Your best bet is to call / PM / email Ben or Dickson.
