Yeah that is what I thought. Since the JDM bumper is shorter it would sit flush. I had the same issue when I installed my JDM grill on my Acura TSX.
Damn bumper regulations.....

 

Yeah I was hoping that those eBay sellers had a modified one that sit flush with the front bumper like the USDM J's one, but unfortunately they didn't take the time to do it

 

I should have known better when they were using JDM fits for sample pics, lol....

I believe it does. It doesn't quite cover the top though, I remember being able to see a bit of the original colour between the hood and the grille.

Yup, there is a USDM J's Grille. Authentic from J's Racing distributed through AJ Racing. A&J Racing or J's Racing North America



They also make a J's Front Lip.

Hard to tell how the fitment is since the grille is black with not a lot of light.

 

it kinda looks like your fit was eating blueberry candy or something dark and has black stained lips. if you use your imagination haha. but congrats on the new grill and i can't wait to see it with the cf hood because i have to agree that it looks a little awkward in black (to me).

 

yeah i have one on my car too i member his from the kamispeed meet in orlando there arent toooo many around here with the grill i like it lol until he showed up i was the only one there with the grill

 

but i paid more for my grill than that i was a sucker and bought a real one out of japan and it fits just about the same as urs damnit thats what i get for being a mugen whore
