Qestion for you guys with aftermarket lips

I have been wanting to get a new lip for my car of course either j's or the mugen one. What I want to know from you guys is if this is just as simple as taking my sport lip of and putting the new one on. Thank you in advance.

you'll need to drill some holes on the Mugen style ones and do some sanding to get it to fit properly.

Can you give me a start as to what grit sanding paper to use? I guess installing would be pretty straight forward, correct?

no sanding involved with my lip.

i just had to dremel the extra lip that hugs onto your bumper by the wheel.

its something i didnt need.

but its pretty straight forward. screw two screws into the bumper on the sides to hold it onto the bumper. on each side that is.

so simple.

It depends on which type you get. The one I have the problem parts are where they meet with the foglight housings. To fix this, I used a dremel with a drum sander and just removed a bit at a time and kept test fitting until it fit without rubbing. Install is pretty straight forward, if you have a Sport, you can use the factor screw and holes to mount the lip.

Then you will have to make your own, otherwise someone else will always have it first.

Had to drill 2 holes for the J's Lip, all the other holes (about 8) were perfectly aligned. Dunno why there was 2 extra holes on the lip and on the stock bumper, maybe for extra support, its a bit heavier then stock.
