I guess since everyone is talking about it here anyways, test fitting of the J's rep grill.
I think it fits alright, nothing is holding the grill down in the pictures (except the ones with the hood down). It'll need double sided tape on the bottom of the grill and rivets at the top when you install, like the authentic one. Should sit pretty nice I think.

No, I think they're starting to make batches. IIRC they told me they have 3 at the moment, and 5 coming on Monday.

ive actually been waiting for this to come out but the replica one looks really rough around the edges are they gunna fix that or is it gunna be crappy like that when i get it. you can deffinatly tell the diff between the replica and the og but it seems like with the lip its a whole diff story.

 

I bought one of the grill today.
Will post pics once I get it painted and mounted.

 

I pm'ed you back, but anyways, I asked them about this, and they said the grill needs to be sanded down and prepped before paint.

How did the lip fit when you put it on? was there any shaving required?

 

The lip fits really well no need to do any work but need to work on the grill cause I don't like how it fits, so decided to spend some time on it, but for that price cant go wrong
