Just got the word from Mugen here in Japan that their "full" aero kits will fit on the US version. The only thing that will not work is the wing spoiler, due to a different angle of the back glass. This doesnt mean that it wont work. It just means you'll have to do a little cutting and install new FRP to get it to work properly.

Going to US with 40,000 grand in my pocket. I appreciate the offer, but my wife doesnt like the word replica. I recently swapped the drivers seat with a full bucket and caught s*** for 3 weeks because it was a "replica" she would rather me spend the money and buy the original parts.

I have a ton of money already invested in the Fit, but I'm not really a huge fan of these wheels or the Mugen kits...

Again everything is depend on part. In your case you purchase a bucket seat which will effect your sitting position etc, so yes you will required to get the OEM. As for spoiler this is how you can save money since you will not fell the different. In my case usualy get the original for the front but the rest you can buy the replica since you cant tell the different accept for the price..

There has been a great deal of problems in the US with "fake" Mugen equipment. I dont like the idea of a replica thats not of the same quality. Since I currently own one and considering the fact that I recently broke the front corner and its still holding (even at high speed) Im pretty impressed with the workmanship that went into making it. I can't say the same for the replicas. Of course since I dont own a replica I dont know how to rate them.

Does anyone have actual letter from Mugen stating that the kits will fit?To my understanding a jdm front end conversion is needed, and king will not verify YET if the kits fit. They are doing testing and will report on it next month. If we know it fits, ill order it today. I just want to know for sure.

The Japanese version kits will DEFINATELY NOT FIT the North American Fits. You do need a front end conversion in order to make it work for the front
Though the side skirts are ok!
As for the back, as long as you do not use the North American rebar and feel comfortable not using it, then there will not be a problem for fitment
Rear spoiler will fit but a shorter antenna is needed.

Thanks for the feedback, this is something we were definently looking into also!
