J's Racing Grille Vs. OEM Grille

J's Racing Grille Vs. OEM Grille
This has been a choice that I am having hard time to make. Either go with the J's Grille. Or just stick to my OEM grille and slap on the red "H" emblem for the front and also the back and call it a day. I drive an NHBP Fit. Which one should I go for? Some suggestions would be great. Correct me guys, if I am wrong. The Fit uses EP3 emblem for the front and DC5 (RSX) for the rear. Is this correct? Thanks Fitfreak.

thanks for the input man. i think they are around that price for the real one and i think half the price for the replica. but, again. thanks for the input.

Depending on how much you can/want to spend.
Getting the grille (real or fake) will be more expensive and it have to be painted.
Sticking with the oe grille and red emblems will be way cheaper.
Just hope no one steal them

++ for the j's grille. red H's look good, but i'm personally done with that look.
it's my birthday so i'm buying myself something nice; debating on the j's grill/lip combo + trunk garnish + sidemarkers or skumk 2 coilovers

the j's replica grill and lip combo can be had for less than the real j's grill alone. shipping would be about the same for either choice: ultra-marked up ebay shipping versus shipping from canada
personally, the knock offs will work for me. i already stress about door dings and being side-swiped by idiots who don't know how to drive or park their cars. i don't want to add theft to that mix

is there any big difference between the REAL J's grill and to the replica? rather, than the authencity between the two. is there a grill like mesh behind on the REAL J's grille? i noticed on the replica of J's its just open. thanks guys and i am really leaning towards the J's grille now, when i have enough cash for it.

The real J's grill comes with mesh... you can just buy a piece of mesh and cut it and glue it behind the rep grill though. The real J's grill also has hooks at the back of the grill to hold the mesh on.

is it hard to install the rep J's grill? did u put a mesh behind ur grill man? thanks for the info man.

I dunno about the rep grill, I actually have the real one, and I did put the mesh behind the grill. But I think with the rep one you can probably add drops of glue around the edge of the mesh to hold it onto the inside of the grill? I'm not sure what glue to use, but it might be something a body shop might have? I just remember having some other grill for another car and the mesh was held on the inside with some sort of glue. Also, the mesh doesn't move around much as it gets pinned in between the grill and the bumper support piece or something that's right behind the badge of the stock grill.
