oh man removing that rear type-r H is gonna b hard. I think the best way to do it is to go get some GOO GONE and just pour it behind the emblem while using a credit card or similar prying object to lift it up. The goo gone will dissolve the adhesive. U can always put new adhesive on there later. To put the rear H back on, use the GOOD 3m double sided tape. U can buy it from Osh or home depot. It's the HEAVY DUTY one with the RED backing... don't get the checkered one that's weak. Then just put it on the areas that are recessed on the back of the emblem.
For the front, if you shaved down the original points of the oem grill, that means u'd have 2 get a new grill so it doesn't show imperfections. Mounting it is the same way, with 3m tape.

it might even be a better idea to trade the rear pannel with someone who has the stock emblem on the same color car you have. i'm sure a lot of people would trade for the rear pannel with the red h attached.
