the perfect rear windshield wiper plug

i decided to do the rear wiper removal bec i dont use the damn thing to begin with, so i took it off and saw what it looked like, it looked amazing, so i saw some of the plugs and things people did to plug it up and no one had a rear good solution, so i decided to look around for the perfect plug

my first place was lowes and it took me awhile but i found one, its a nylon 7/8 hole plug that fits absolutely perfect in the hole. heres the pictures to prove it

heres the packaging and what they look like, i think it ended out to being 1.20 at the register. i sanded down the one on the left for a smoother surface to paint on. and i also sanded the dia just a hair so it perfectly fits around the hole

to paint it all i did was sand it down really well and did my best with some touch up paint, it looks perfect to me, alittle dark in some areas but you cant tell very much at all, i hope everyone gets what i got out this one and grabs one of these for an easy perfect mod.

wow looks great mate.. kinda influence me to remove my rear wiper too..

go for it bud, it loooks soooo much cleaner when its not there, plus you can put it back on if you dont like it!

thanx bud, i hope more and more people do this mod now theres a good plug to fit in the hole

Well i wanted a temp. solution to deleting my rear wiper from the Fit, simply because i do not use it and it collects nothing but dirt on it.So i searched around and found this post

I used a plug off a 92-95 EG hatch. I used the rear hatch shock plug. Couple bucks also.

really easy to miss. you can get it in metal or plastic

i had to buy a bigger rubber plug for the inside underneath the smaller one 7/8 plug. i will post up a pic. i had to dremel around the rubber plug so it would fit snug

I for one like having a rear wiper for when water/snow/etc. gets on the window...

Your delete looks real clean though!
