I paid $17.95 for this---- vendor link at the bottom of page. From the bottom surface to the top of the ridges, this is 1/4" thick. Sharp surfaces on the bottom of heavy objects being set on the bumper, like metal or plastic feet on suitcases, staples on boxes, DOG CLAWS, will not hurt this strip the way it would gouge the tape strips from Honda. The plastic protector also spreads weight over a wide area, unlike the soft plastic of the bumper surface. The black color goes all the way through the strip. Attaches with double face tape- it took 1 minute to apply.






This is an exact fit for the narrow GE back bumper, but it would also work on a GD that already has the tape applique- would provide the anti-gouge weight spreading advantage if applied on top, toward the back edge of the bumper.
